Playing Games With A PC

PC gamers use an application named Kali95® to connect and play interactive games PC vs PC/Mac.

Kali95 is a new application that allows PC's to play IPX games against other PC's or Mac Users! This means that you can now do battle to the virtual death with PC users from all over the world. Currently, the only cross Platform games that have proven to work are Descent I/II and Warcraft II and Command and Conquer.

The process for connecting to the Sim-Net Kali Server is listed below:

Download the Kali95 Software
Install the Kali95 program and edit the preferences including Your NickName, Real Name and eMail Address. Note that your Kali Serial # and Skey are not used until you have registered your Kali with the manufacturer and paid your registration fee.
Connect to Sim-Net Online Services using FirstClass Software and the information obtained from the "How do I connect" web page.
Enter a chat room and find a person to challenge to the interactive game of your choice. Of course, the more games you own and play, the better your chances of finding a person to play.
Open your Kali95 Application and SELECT the New Connection Button. Type in the Sim-Net Server Address: 205.158.35.75 and press CONNECT.
Check to be sure that it says you are connected.
Return to the Sim-Net FirstClss chat OR open the KCHAT (stands for KaliChat) button and set up a game with someone already connected to the KCHAT server. Let your opponent know that you have connected to the Kali Server.

You are now ready to start and play an IPX based game over the internet. In most cases, the game is HOSTED by one player and JOINED by the other. Ask other members for assistance or send a note to Sim-Net Tech support for help on a particular game. Sim-Net Support can be contacted via Sim-Net email. Once logged onto Sim-Net, open the INFO folder and find the Tech Support Area. Fill out the auto-send form and you should receive a prompt response.
