Conditions: All versions of F/A-18 Hornet (Excluding Demo's) are approved for use over Sim-Net Online Services.
Limitations: Games with 2 Pilots work VERY well over the Internet using IPRemote. 3 or more pilots per mission have been reported to work on a limited basis, depending on such factors as modem speed connections, modem protocol and the distance of the players rom each other.
Recommendations: We recommend a maximum of 2-Way Hornet games over the internet.
4-Way Hornet games using Apple Remote Access (ARA v.2.0) direct dial-in work very well especially with v. 1.1.2/1.1.3 (Classic Hornet).
Sim-Net Rules for Tournament Play: Sim-Net holds a number of different tournaments based on the F/A-18 Hornet games (v1.1.2 AND v.2.0.1). Below is a general listing of rules and tournaments that take place on a weekly basis. See the Calendar of Events for actual times.
